Another must from Alan Stivell, is this album “Reflets”.
If I may give an opinion, this LP has among its top albums: excellent harp arrangements with electric instrumentation (guitar, organ, etc.), recording the year 1970. I mean we are facing that exquisite progressive sound of those years. In my walk to Stivell’s discography, I think the best of it ends up in his LP “Live in Dublin” (and I’ll rip, maybe in the next future). 😉

Architecture & Morality, originally released in 1981, is considered by many to be the pinnacle of Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark’s career. It spawned three Top 5 UK singles and the album itself peaked at No.3. In 2007 Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys reunited with Malcolm Holmes and Martin Cooper as OMD for an extensive tour of Europe. For the early part of this tour, including this concert filmed in high definition at London’s Hammersmith Apollo in May, the concert was split into two halves. The first part of the evening was a complete performance of the Architecture & Morality album, while the second half was a greatest hits set covering the rest of the band’s illustrious career. The concerts were spectacularly presented with films specially created to compliment the songs running on huge screens around the stage. This is OMD at their best.

Featuring the seminal hits `Sultans Of Swing’ and `Romeo and Juliet’ plus a unique encore performances of the Ivor Novello Award-winning `Going Home’ from the soundtrack to the film `Local Hero’. Demonstrating faultless musicianship, this is a true recording of excerpts of one dire straits performance, containing no re-recording or overdubs of any kind.

The video has been painstakingly restored from the original film by archive restoration specialist and acclaimed live concert director Dick Carruthers (Led Zeppelin, Paul McCartney).
