The Sugababes aren’t done with the surprises.
For, just days after unwrapping their critically-acclaimed project ‘The Lost Tapes,’ the original line-up of the Brit-Pop trio has released a deluxe edition of the LP.
Having first reformed in 2012, the founding members of the ensemble released the revered single ‘Flatline’ – under the alias MKS (an abbreviation of their names) due to legalities around the group name. And while supporters were excited to see Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, and Siobhan Donaghy reunited (following many well-documented line-up changes), further legal and label complexities saw their planned album benched…until now.
Trumpeting the news of the expanded iteration of the ‘The Lost Tapes.’ the ‘Babes said::

The Lost Tapes is the eighth studio album by British girl group Sugababes. While work for the album dates back to 2012 when the original lineup reunited and concluded in 2014, the album remained unreleased until 24 December 2022. The Lost Tapes is the second Sugababes album to feature the original lineup after 2000’s One Touch. The band announced the surprise release on social media, stating “We wrote this album almost 8 years ago and for various reasons it didn’t get an official release, so it’s with great pride that The Lost Tapes is available now on all streaming platforms”.
