PJ Harvey’s tenth studio album I Inside the Old Year Dying marks her first release in seven years, following UK number 1 album The Hope Six Demolition Project. On this album, which was recorded with long-time creative collaborators John Parish and Flood, PJ Harvey builds a sonic universe somehow located in a space between life’s opposites, and between recent history and the ancient past. Scattered with biblical imagery and references to Shakespeare, all of these distinctions ultimately dissolve into something profoundly uplifting and redemptive. PJ Harvey has announced a new box set collecting music from her back catalog. B-Sides, Demos, & Rarities is due out November 4 (via UMe/Island). The release will be available in 6xLP, 3xCD, and digital formats, and includes 59 songs spanning Harvey’s three-decade career. The box set features previously unreleased songs, alternate versions of pre-existing songs, and other material that has been previously unavailable in physical formats or on streaming services.

Ahead of the release, PJ Harvey has shared demos of three songs from the box set. “Dry” and “Missed” both first appeared on Harvey”s 1993 album Rid of Me, while “Somebody’s Down, Somebody’s Name” was originally included on the limited edition version of Harvey’s 1995 album To Bring You My Love as a B-side.

The box set was mastered by Jason Mitchell in collaboration with John Parish, who worked as a producer on PJ Harvey albums including To Bring You My Love, White Chalk, and Let England Shake, among others. It also includes rare archival photos, with art direction from Maria Mochnacz and Rob Crane.

PJ Harvey’s ninth studio album, The Hope Six Demolition Project, was released in 2016. Earlier this year, she released a collection of demos recorded during the making of her celebrated 2011 album Let England Shake, and has a new reissue of The Hope Six Demolition Project due out in March 2023. UMe and Island will also release new vinyl reissues of every album in the PJ Harvey catalog, as well as her two albums with John Parish.

PJ Harvey has announced a reissue of 2016’s The Hope Six Demolition Project, her ninth album. She recorded the project in 2012 as part of a public art installation in London. The new edition arrives with The Hope Six Demolition Project – Demos on March 11. Listen to a demo version of “The Wheel” below.

The Hope Six Demolition Project is the latest among several of Harvey’s records that have reissued, following White Chalk and A Woman a Man Walked By, her 2009 collaborative album with John Parish. Let England Shake is next in the reissue campaign, set for January 28. In April, PJ Harvey will publish Orlam, a book-length narrative poem written in the Dorset dialect.

PJ Harvey’s third album “To Bring You My Love” will be reissued and remastered in 24bit, alongside an album of previously unreleased demos.

A 10-track collection of previously unreleased demos of all songs from the third studio album by PJ Harvey “To Bring You My Love” from 1995. Includes demo versions of the singles “Down By The Water,” “C’mon Billy” and “Send His Love To Me.” Audio has been mastered by Jason Mitchell at Loud Mastering under the guidance of long time PJ Harvey collaborator John Parish. Features new artwork with previously unseen photos by original photographer and designer Maria Mochnacz.

“To Bring You My Love” was produced by Flood and John Parish and originally released in February 1995 and celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
