This upcoming Friday we’re happy to announce the release of the album Dedications by Oddmund Finnseth – A double bass player from Sortland, who has been a driving force and one of the foremost jazz musicians in Northern Norway for decades. This is his first release under own name, and features fantastic jazz musicians such as Alan Barnes (UK) – alto sax, Roy Nikolaisen – trumpet, Øystein Norvoll – guitar, Roger Johansen – drums, as well as Oddmund himself on double bass. Producer for the album is Eilif Hallingstad Finnseth, who also appears on drums on Eilif’s tune!
