“In making music, I pursue the kind of freedom that helps me to share my life experiences with the technical abilities at my disposal and to honestly convey my thoughts at the given moment. I believe I was in this state of mind on the day of the recording. For me, the memory of the joint and spontaneous playing of the day remains a defining experience. M’at’e and I met at the Liszt Academy’s Jazz Department. Since then, we have been playing and rehearsing together.
