The German orchestral scenery is quite unique in the world as you can fi nd many orchestras of high quality even in the smaller cities. These also include the Aachen Symphony Orchestra that had a stroke of luck with appointing Marcus Bosch as conductor in 2002. During Bosch‘s curatorship Aachen has increased the number of concertgoers four times over, and has won over new audiences with numerous concert projects. The now completed, acclaimed Bruckner-Cycle is probably the best farewell gift Marcus Bosch could make to the Aachen musicians and citizens. This box also includes the „study“ Symphony in f minor and the Symphony in d minor („No. 0“/Annulled) which have not been released before.

The first release in the Dvolzerk series by Bosch is the epic song number 7 & 3.
The #7 is the world’s first recording of “Andante” by the original Berenwriter.

Marx Bosch has just been completed with all Aachen and Brookner’s epic songs and has started the Dvolzerk series. The first release of Nuremberg State Philharmony, Bosch serves as a general director of music since 2011, is a combination of the “No. 7” which is popular among Dwarzerk enthusiasts as the 9th and 8th of the German classics and romanticism with a characteristic “No. 3”. Bosch in Brookler recording is a positive attitude to introducing the latest research results in the introduction of the latest research and results in the 4 parma version that includes the finale of the restored posts from the first publications.
Bosch seems to be in the same stance as Dvolzerk, and in #7 it adopts the score of the original version of the new Berenwriter from Jonathan Del Mar. It is also noticed that the second insignia has changed from the current Polco Adago to Andante Sustenute.

Nurenberg State Philharmony was present in 1922 and is said to dater to the Nuremberg Municipal Orchestra that has its origins in 1377, and is a poatrical orchestra that boasts the scale next to the Bavarian State theatre. Along with the opera performances, it offers an 8 orchestra concert year as well as a children’s concert, and is known to be the youngest music general director in Germany in 1988.

The trumpet at the movies *Move *– the name of this album – is also the title of a concerto written by Baptiste Trotignon and here receiving its recording premiere; the work pays tribute to major composers of film music, whose iconic scores form the backdrop in this “audiofilm” starring the trumpet of Romain Leleu. Taking us on a cinematic journey with stops to admire Rota’s The Godfather and Ennio Morricone’s Wild West, Rochefort and Chinatown, Elevator to the Gallows and Dingo (both films with a direct connection to Miles Davis), the young French trumpet player skilfully navigates between a jazz line-up and full orchestra, in the company of stellar associates. Roll film!

The promise of fortune and the danger of doom are rarely as close as in gambling. In the 19th and early 20th centuries, the fascination with challenging fate with cards, dice, or other gambling devices influenced by chance was particularly widespread. Russians were apparently particularly receptive to the dangerous charms: Alexander Pushkin’s story Queen of Spades or Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s novel The Gambler bear witness to this as literary traces; with Piotr I. Tchaikovsky and Sergei Prokofiev, two prominent compatriots were inspired to compose. Igor Stravinsky’s Jeu de cartes completes the playful compendium, which at the same time offers a fascinating view of the stylistic development from high romanticism to the special Russian style of modernism. Marcus Bosch and the Norddeutsche Philharmonie present all of this with sparkling brilliance – and, of course, with a great deal of joy in playing.

In 1778 Mozart attested “the most wonderful effect” to the melodrama Medea (1775) of his contemporary Georg Anton Benda (1722-1795). Indeed, the combination of spoken texts with dramatic music unfolds a high emotional intensity here. Especially when a voice as incisive as that of the famous actress Katharina Thalbach breathes life into the text. The fast, delicate interplay of text and music makes it possible to develop a conflict-laden and contradictory character psychogram with an unusual presence. Marcus Bosch and the cappella aquileia accompany this new discovery of classical music theater with their usual precise and transparent sound.
