Country duo Maddie & Tae are already in the holiday spirit, announcing their first-ever Christmas record, We Need Christmas.
Calling the project a “bright spot” in the bleak year that 2020 has been for everyone, the six-song EP will arrive on October 23. Fans will unwrap two new Christmas originals — “Merry Married Christmas” and title track, “We Need Christmas” — plus four of Maddie [Marlow] Font and Taylor [Dye] Kerr’s holiday favorites. “This Christmas,” “Holly Jolly Christmas,” “O Come All Ye Faithful” and “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” have all gotten a harmony-filled makeover, with production by Jimmy Robbins and Derek Wells.

Maddie & Tae are continuing to share their story. The duo of Maddie Marlow and Taylor Dye [release] their new EP Everywhere I’m Goin’, featuring five new tracks and a collaboration with Dierks Bentley… All five tracks were written by the duo alongside top writers Laura Veltz, Jimmy Robbins and Dye’s fiance, Josh Kerr. Maddie & Tae also team up with Bentley on a track titled “Lay Here With Me,” described as a “vocal power duet,” while “Trying on Rings” is reflective of Marlow and fiance Jonah Font’s story.

Maddie & Tae have officially announced a release date for the second volume of their Through the Madness project. Through the Madness Vol. 2 will be out on Friday, Sept. 23.
The project is set to feature eight tracks, including “Every Night Every Morning,” which they released in June.
Each track on the project was co-written by the duo’s Maddie Font and Taylor Kerr. Other co-writers include Kerr’s husband Josh Kerr as well as Ryan Hurd, Jimmy Robbins, Josh Thompson and many more.
