Considered as a musician singer, for her incredible skill of improvisation and Scat. The combination of the low voice with the rare ability to handle fast and clear scats earned Leny Andrade, the comparison with great divas of North American jazz. “A sensaci’on” originally released on LP, in 1961; it is the first album of Leny Andrade, who at the time, already caused frisson in the carioca night, sang in the alley of bottles, a mix of Samba and jazz, with a lot of improvisation.
