December 14, 2016 Ibrahim Maalouf performs for nearly 4 hours in Paris at an AccorHotels Arena sold out to celebrate his 10 years of touring. Surrounded by his historical group, a classical orchestra, a choir of nearly 100 children as well as a dozen surprise guests (-M-, Amadou & Mariam, Soprano, Tryo, LEJ, Hiba Tawaji …) he plays songs from his eight studio albums in front of more than 17,000 people. This is a unique show in the history of jazz that has marked the spirits for a long time and for which Ibrahim Maalouf receives the Victory of the Music of the Spectacle / Concert of the year 2017.

10 years of live music, that’s something to celebrate! In 2006, after having accompanied many artists, Ibrahim Maalouf decided to embark on a new adventure by releasing his first album Diasporas which he presented on stage for the first time that same year. 10 years and 8 albums later, with a thousand concerts in France and around the world, awards (Victoire du Jazz, Victoire de la Musique, several gold discs), hundreds of thousands of albums sold on his own label, as well as various film scores, Ibrahim Maalouf has become an essential artist.

Ibrahim Maalouf (born December 5, 1980 in Beirut) is a French-Lebanese musician (trumpeter and piano player), composer and arranger.

Ibrahim Maalouf comes from a family of academics and artists. He is the son of the trumpeter Nassim Maalouf and the pianist Nada Maalouf, nephew of the writer Amin Maalouf and grandchild of Rushdi Maalouf, journalist, poet and musicologist. Ibrahim Maalouf plays on a quarter-tone trumpet equipped with four valves, just like his father before, but also Don Ellis and others. It makes it possible to play Arabic Maquam music.

In July 2010, he received the Prix Frank Ténot as “French New Discovery” (“Révélation”) of the year, the Jazz Prize “Les Victoires du Jazz” in Juan-les-Pins.

Leave No Traces (Polish: Żeby nie było śladów) is a 2021 Polish drama film directed by Jan P. Matuszyński. It was selected to compete for the Golden Lion at the 78th Venice International Film Festival. It was selected as the Polish entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 94th Academy Awards. The film is based on the book Żeby nie było śladów by Cezary Łazarewicz, which received the Nike Award in 2017.Born in Beirut in 1980, Ibrahim Maalouf is today the most popular instrumentalist on the French music scene. His work in blending genres has been recognised throughout the world for more than 15 years.

Il y a ceux qui savent. Et les autres. Chaque spectateur d’un concert d’Ibrahim Maalouf a pu ressentir ce petit plus propre au live. Cet instant unique à emporter chez soi qu’il rend véritablement unique. Voilà dix ans que le trompettiste arpente les scènes en se donnant corps et âme à son public. La première fois, c’était en solo en solo au New Morning à Paris en 2006. Un millier de concerts et des dizaines de pays traversés plus tard, Maalouf fête cette décennie avec ce copieux live, renfermant des extraits des concerts l’ayant le plus marqués. 14 titres captés entre 2011 et 2016 accompagnés ici par 14 vidéos. Plus d’une heure cinquante de musique (et d’images !) pour mieux cerner son univers kaléidoscopique fait de jazz, de musique orientale, de chanson, de classique et de pop. Sur une poignante reprise de La Javanaise de Gainsbourg, il a convié la grande Juliette Gréco. Et pour True Sorry, la Maîtrise de Radio France est de la partie. Quelques instants forts qui viennent se mêler à d’autres instants forts tout au long d’un live qui ressemble bien à son auteur.
