‘The type is based on the labels from historical the butterfly and insect collections. We visited the Discovery centre in Leeds as part of our initial research – this mad museum warehouse with the most incredibly juxtapositions of objects from thousand-year-old stone tools, to a giant model squid, to creepy Victorian Dolls, Egyptian mummies, 1950’s TV sets and a veritable arc full of of stuffed animals, all packed on the shelves next to each other.
