One might expect with these Neapolitan songs that two or three would be quite enough at a time. In fact I found that, having put the disc on, I couldn’t bring myself to turn it off. The closest comparison is like getting through a box of chocolates, when you meant only to sample them. I don’t ever remember responding so warmly to Caruso’s voice as on this disc. Listen and marvel. Addictive listening. The presence of the voice is astounding
