On Friday, Bishop Briggs announced her second studio album Champion, which is due via Island Records on Nov. 8. Following the summer release of the project’s title track, Champion has already delivered its next single: “JEKYLL & HIDE.” The fluctuating characters from Robert Louis Stevenson’s 1886 novel Jekyll & Hyde play tricks on the singer in this angsty, alternative-pop track. “I was yesterday’s regret/ But today I woke up in your bed,” she laments about her confusing relationship status.
