“It is with the utmost excitement and joy that we can announce that we will be releasing a brand new album on May 13. We couldn’t be more proud of it and look forward to you hearing it!” reads the announcement on Bear’s Den’s Facebook page. The joy is all ours.

Because after the British indie-folk band last released its album “Fragments” in 2020, for which it worked with composer and arranger Paul Frith to give some of its songs a new interpretation, it returns with new songs in 2022. “Blue Hours” is the name of the fourth album by the duo consisting of Andrew Davie (vocals, guitar) and Kevin Jones (vocals, drums).

Davie described the new work as follows: “‘Blue Hours’ is kind of an imaginary space you go to at night, a place where you process difficult things or where you try to figure it all out.”
