The day I heard these 3 musicians, I was literally “combed back.” Is that this concert became part of the essential (long before fashion “unplugged”).
Somehow John McLaughlin, Al Di Meola and Paco De Lucía, became my heroes (and many).
Certainly they kept together in another job, but without the same impact. I also had the opportunity to see them live, and I must confess that I left a little disappointed, as Al Di Meola used much pedal and sound effects that took away all warmth to guitars.
Anyone who has attended this concert must have been impressed at the time.
