Joe Hertenstein Trio – a premiere with Michael Moore and Greg Cohen. Drummer Joe Hertenstein has been living in New York for 13 years. 10 years ago, the jazzwerkstatt released an album of his with Jon Irabagon and Achim Tang. The effects of Covid-19 have led him back to Germany. The American clarinetist and alto saxophonist Michael Moore settled in Amsterdam in 1982. He is known worldwide for his beautiful tone and his rich musical imagination, the American double bassist Greg Cohen, who for many years stirred up the New York jazz scene alongside John Zorn and Dave Douglas, has been living in Berlin for many years, but when he reaches into the strings, every tone has the legitimacy of the whole jazz history.
