They had loved that their first opus Traveling Soul, its crispy blues-rock, sometimes transferring even sometimes to the stoner, to the soul heart and blues, definite and luminous voices which are not without reminding of those of Crosby Stills and Nash (and words are weighed!) . For this EP, the Parisians change range and offer an unique musical happening. Encircled with a group of guests, they develop a masterclass rock-soul of very high flight. Flawless production, far from the sound frenchy cheapos who often fill hexagonal productions, Gunwood here makes speak the powder, the one who blows up borders. With a directory dug over predominantly into their first album, the group here sublimates these titles in the songwriting ultra-controlled with these famous guest-stars: so from implacable “More” with Well the uncle Soul, “Rude Thing” with the powerful guitar of Yarol Poupaud and taking it “Rainchild” with Hugh Coltman. Necessary EP for every amateur of rock!
