Born in Italy in 2001, Elia Cecino began his studies at 9 with prof. Maddalena De Facci and at 17 graduated ‘Summa cum Laude’ at Cesena Conservatory as a private student. In 2020 he achieved the Specialization Diploma of the Accademia del Ridotto di Stradella with Andrzej Jasinski and he is now studying with Eliso Virsaladze at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole.

Winner of Premio Venezia 2019, Elia was awarded in Europe in international competitions among Pozzoli in Seregno, Casagrande in Terni, Schumann in Düsseldorf, Luciani in Cosenza, Città di Albenga, Bajic in Novi Sad, Chopin in Budapest, Marciano in Vienna, Bramanti in Forte dei Marmi. Some of his recitals and interviews have been broadcast on Rai Radio 3, Radio Popolare, Rai FVG and Radio MCA. He participated in the TV show ‘Prodigi’ for Unicef on air on Rai 1.

He performed with the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, Sichuan Philarmonic, Bacau Philarmonic, Joven Orquesta Leonesa, FVG Orchestra, Orchestra Vivaldi of Milan, Concentus Musicus Patavinus Orchestra, Orchestra San Marco of Pordenone. Since 2014 Elia is regularly invited to play solo recitals in venue such as Teatro Verdi in Trieste, Fazioli Concert Hall in Sacile, Teatro degli Industri in Grosseto, Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, Sala degli Affreschi of Società Umanitaria and Spazio 89 in Milan, Bolzano Conservatory, Sala dei Giganti in Padova, Villa Carlotta in Tremezzo, Società Letteraria in Verona, Palazzo De Nobili in Catanzaro, Casa Mozart in Rovereto, Gesellschaft für Musiktheater in Vienna, Schloss Wolfsburg, Italian Culture Institute in Hamburg, Palatul Culturii Iasi, Aula de Cultura in Murcia, Dvorana Glasbene Šole in Radovljica. In 2016 he performed on a concert tour in Arkansas and Virginia (USA).

Elia has also an intense chamber music activity in string trio and in December 2020 collaborated with cellist Mario Brunello for a project on Beethoven 250th anniversary. In October 2020 the magazine Suonare News released his debut CD dedicated to music of Beethoven, Chopin and Skrjabin.

This live performance took place during the AEVEA IPC and was recorded as HD/24-bits by producer and engineer Alessandro Simonetto by using 8 (eight) Bruel & Kjæer and Neumann microphones. These recordings are part of the Aevea Piano Prize, and their sale are important in order to support future editions of the competition.
