The Aurora Children’s Choir release this landmark recording of Alexander Manotskov’s sprawling new vocal work, “Requiem, or Children’s Games”. Russian composer Alexander Manotskov studied composition under the guidance of A. Yusfin, then V. Gaivoronsky, and also studied various non-European musical traditions with their carriers. Manotskov works in instrumental and vocal compositions, cantatas, oratorios, music for choir, vocal ensembles, operas, musical performances, sacred music. Recently, he has been especially intensively experimenting in the genre of opera.
